How Skopa works
Skopa proposes. You confirm.
From the brief to the delivery report, here is who does what on the buy side.
Step by step.
Skopa does the chasing and the comparing. Every decision that commits your budget stays with a person on your team.
- Your team
Adds each advertiser once: who they are (brand.json), budget, markets, exclusions and the amounts above which a person approves.
- Your team
Connects your planning tools or your own agents, if you want to brief from them.
- Trader
Writes the brief: markets, flight, formats, budget, content genres.
- Skopa
Sends the brief to every selling agent built on AdCP that matches it.
- Skopa
Receives a plan from each publisher’s selling agent.
- Skopa
Checks each seller before relying on its offer: the publisher’s adagents.json must list the selling agent that answers.
- Skopa
Lays the proposals side by side, line by line.
- Skopa
Negotiates with the sellers within your budget and guardrails. The first round trip is included with the brief.
- Trader
Picks the lines and confirms the plan. Once each publisher has confirmed too, the plan becomes the record.
- Skopa
Sends your creatives to each publisher in the formats it accepts, with click-through and tracking tags.
- Trader
Sends a fixed version when a publisher refuses a creative, with the reason Skopa passes on. The first three versions of a line’s creative are free, then one credit each. The plan goes live once the creatives are approved.
- Trader
Reads delivery against the plan. Confirms or declines any make-good.
- Skopa
Sends delivery to your own dashboards every hour while the plan runs, checked against the plan. Free.
- Skopa
At close, checks the publisher’s billable statement against the confirmed plan, make-goods included.
- Your finance team
Receives the publisher’s invoice and pays the publisher directly, on the statement both sides read.
Who pays what.
Example: a USD 40,000 plan, confirmed after two rounds of negotiation and delivered in full.
| Who pays | Whom | For what | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| You | The publisher | The media, on the publisher’s invoice | USD 40,000 |
| You | Oderra | Skopa’s work: the brief sent, first round trip included, the comparison and one more round trip | 3 credits · USD 12 |
| Nobody | Delivery reports, the record, checking the billable statement | Free |
Oderra takes 0% of your media budget and never holds the media money: you pay the publisher directly. You pay for Skopa with credits bought ahead or by subscription, and get your receipts and invoices from Stripe under the name Oderra. Pricing
